The JMB will deliver a “refresher” training module on Competency-Based Recruitment and Selection of Senior School Leaders (Principal/Deputy Principal). This seminar will cover the appeal circular CL 0062/2021 and will revise the main aspects of the recruitment process from the initial advertisement to the job offer.
Who should attend? Chairperson, Principals and nominees of the Board of Management who are likely to serve on Selection Committees for the appointment of Senior School Leaders and who have already completed the full 1.5 day Interview Competency Course some years previously.
Who should not attend? People who have not completed the full course as well as Deputy Principals and teacher nominees on Boards of Management. Deputy Principals and teacher nominees are highly unlikely to lead Selection Committees for the appointment of a Principal or Deputy Principal.
