JMB Board of Management Training
The JMB will provide training for Board of Management members at nine venues during the month of November. The training session will provide board members with a clear insight into their roles and responsibilities as board members and the relationship between the Board and the Trustees. In looking at the role and functions of the board, particular reference will be made to the Articles of Management, government guidelines and relevant legislation.
Members of Boards of Management in voluntary secondary schools are invited to attend one of the training sessions. We encourage all members of new boards of management and new members of existing boards of management to make a special effort to attend. Newly appointed principals are also encouraged to attend.
Principals are requested to register board members for training even if the inaugural meeting of the board has not yet occurred.

Educate Together will present a session on ethos for members of boards of management under the patronage of Educate Together at the training at the Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan, on 23 November 2024. Members of boards of management of Educate Together Secondary Schools are encouraged to attend at this training.
Times: 9.00 – 2.00 - Registration: 8.30 – Tea/Coffee arrival
Lunch after event at 2pm
Cost: €40
