Overview
In partnership with Mason Hayes & Curran, and its team of leading lawyers in education, JMB is hosting a one-day seminar on legal matters that impact daily on schools. This is an opportunity not to be missed in ensuring that you have the latest advice and updates. Guidance on the legal rights of the school, pupil and parents will be highlighted.
The team will provide answers to the frequently asked questions which arise in schools in areas such as guardianship, rights of 18-year-old pupils, cooperation with the Gardai and Tusla, searching pupil’s property, right to withdraw from subjects, administration of medicines, staff interaction with the principal, use of CCTV, suspension and expulsion, social media and many other issues of concern.
You are invited to email any questions you would like answered on the day to siobhancorry@jmb.ie as soon as possible but not later than Monday 21 November.
