Board of Management Training 2019 will take place countrywide on 9th, 16th and 23rd November.

Overview

The Board of Management in-service training programme will provide board members with a clear insight into the roles and responsibilities of trustees as well as those of a board. In addition the programme will concentrate on the responsibility of members of boards of management and the role and functions of the board with particular reference to the Articles of Management and legislation.

Who should attend

The in-service programme is open to all members of Boards of Management in all Voluntary Secondary Schools. In particular we would like to encourage the following groups of participants to attend:

• All members of new Boards
• New members of existing Boards
• Any member of a Board who missed last year’s training
• Newly appointed Principals

All attendees must register on-line prior to attending training/events. To avoid paying unnecessary catering costs please register only participants who will attend training.
Payment for JMB events/training will only be accepted by credit/debit card, as with all other on-line bookings/purchases.

Tea & coffee will be provided from 9.00 am onwards and light refreshments will be served at 11.30 am each morning. Lunch will be served at 2 pm in each venue.

€20 per person attending
