Revised JMB Guidelines on the Inclusion of Students of Different Beliefs in Catholic Secondary Schools

The JMB has now published its revised ‘Guidelines on the Inclusion of Students of Different Beliefs in Catholic Secondary Schools’.

The revised guidelines are authored by Dr Aiveen Mullally and are underpinned by an extensive consultation process. JMB is most grateful to Dr Mullally and all who participated in the development of this resource, which will prove helpful to schools by:

  • Articulating in contemporary terms, our commitment to ethos
  • Offering a shared understanding of the new JC Religious Education programme
  • Supporting the inclusion of students of different, and no, faith
  • Engaging with parents and informing their decision-making on the curriculum

Printed copies for the principal and BOM chairperson have been sent to schools and a pdf version of the Guidelines is also available here.
