O'Sullivan urged to row back on JC reform

Irish Independent: JMB said the minister should revert to an earlier proposal that would involve teachers assessing Junior Cert students for 40pc of marks in a subject, while the traditional exam would count for the other 60pc. JMB general secretary Ferdia Kelly said that in the interests of maintaining a momentum around change, they felt the minister should revert to the pre-October 2012 position, for five years.
