Global Schoolroom (GS) is a teacher education initiative established in 2006, which brings Irish and local teachers together to build capacity through the sharing of educational experience. GS’s vision is to improve peoples’ lives and build sustainable development through quality education driven by great teaching. GS works with Irish and international networks that share their commitment to inclusive and equitable quality education.
With a ten-year track record in India, in 2016 Global Schoolroom entered a new stage in its mission to eradicate poverty, promote economic development and build sustainable communities through the provision of quality education, expanding its programmes to Sierra Leone.
