Publicjobs.ie (www. publicjobs.ie) have asked us to alert schools to new procedures they have in place from July 21 for advertising vacancies:
We wish to highlight and emphasise the following key updates:
- You are required to provide a notice period of 5 working days, prior to the requested advertising date.
- In order to manage demand and provide a service to a large number of clients, the maximum number of adverts that we can accept from an individual organisation is 10 adverts per week.
- Due to changes to our advertising system, job descriptions can now contain a maximum of 2,000 characters (including spaces). Please note, you are not required to provide a job description as part of the advert.
Please note these Guidelines (July 2022) are effective from 21st July 2022. The new Request Form should be used for any future advert requests and should be submitted to externaladverts@publicjobs.ie
