Education Minister Norma Foley says the Government is committed to reforming the Leaving Cert experience to ensure that it works for all students.
The minister said there was more to progression beyond senior cycle to CAO points and higher education.
She said the talents, dreams and ambitions of individual students must be recognised and they should be prepared for a full range of options when they leave school.
Ms Foley was addressing a conference on Leaving Cert reform organised of the Joint Managerial Body (JMB), which represents managements in almost half the country’s second-level schools. Read more
