The JMB has posted a template Data Protection Policy for use by our schools on its web today.
This resource is aimed at supporting schools on their journey to reaching GDPR compliance.
As schools share a lot in common much of the contents of the template policy will require little adjustment.
Where your school has already updated its data protection policy during the course of the past year, your school may consider it appropriate to review it now in the light of this new template and the activities suggested in the accompanying support note.
