The NCCA [here] has issued the following advice regarding the completion of Classroom Based Assessments in the current cohort of 2nd year students:
‘The very real challenges that school closures have created and the ongoing efforts by teachers and schools to continue to plan lessons and, where possible, provide online resources or lessons for your students are very much appreciated. We are aware that, where it was feasible, students may have been asked to continue working on classroom-based assessments with guidance from their teachers.
For students currently in second year, previously issued key dates related to CBA1s no longer apply. When available, further information on the completion of CBAs for this cohort of students will be provided by the Department of Education and Skills’
